Also, this weekend the boyfriend and I had a little train adventure and I got plenty of pictures to spread the love on blogs to come. We started at the stop where I get on the train to go to work (seen in the pics below) and took it all the way to Pico Station. But every couple of stops we got off and I found the public art work and snapped some photos.
The adventure made me realize just how much art we have at the stations. I had seen that a few stations had it, but never looked very closely as I sped by in the train. We took time at each station and I saw that a lot of care and planning went into where the art was places, the subject matter, and the neighborhood that it was placed in.
As I was taking the pictures I got a couple weird looks, but hopefully the people were able to see what I was seeing and appreciate their neighborhood train station a little more.
